This weekend I did a bit of cooking and had some fun at my stamp camp. The kids went with Theo and his mom to Mt. Lemmon to enjoy some cooler weather and of course we had 2 soccer games both of which we won including a goal from Ian. The two recipes I made were The Ultimate Lady's Cheesy Mac and Cheese from Paula Deen and the second was Apple and Pear Crisp from Ina Garten-both recipes can be found on foodtv.com. I liked both but the mac and cheese was a bit to heavy on the eggs and came out more like a souffle I'd make it again but cut the recipe to 4 eggs instead. The Apple Crisp was AWESOME! The only addition I would make to that would be to top it with some warm caramel sauce.
