Christmas 2013

As you can imagine this Christmas was MUCH quieter and less busy than any previous holiday season. With us being many miles away from our family and friends we did things on a smaller scale all around. The kids and I did decorate a little and we did get a big fresh tree, although it didn't smell as strong as I would have hoped having been cut down just days before it entered our house. We had planned to go out on Christmas Eve to look at Christmas lights but unfortunately is was too foggy to see past the end of our driveway so we opted for opening new pajamas and a movie night by the fireplace.
