Pumpkin Picking

Last Sunday after Halen's soccer game we drove a few miles from home to Velvet Acre Gardens to pick out pumpkins. It wasn't a very big farm but we enjoyed a tractor pulled hay ride out to the patch where we picked 5 giant gourds to carve up for Halloween this week. This this was the first time I have picked pumpkins in a sweatshirt which made it feel like fall. Megan's favorite part was the GIANT broccoli plants on the farm in front of the pumpkins.
