Tonight for dinner I made two types of pasta. The first was just Chicken Fettucini and the second was Creamy Mushroom Bow Ties. The second was a recipe I had never made before but I will certainly make again....Very good!! Here is the recipe from Taste of Home's Simple and Delicious Sept./Oct. 2006
Creamy Mushroom Bow Ties
6 cups bow tie pasta
1 pound sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 TBS. butter
1 pkg. (4.4oz) garlic-herb cheese spread (found in the deli section)
1/4 cup chicken broth
Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute the mushrooms, salt, pepper in butter until tender. Add cheese spread and broth; cook and stirl until blended. Drain pasta; add to skillet and toss to coat.
Makes 9 side dish servings or 4 main dish servings.
